Breaded Garlic Parmesan Air Fryer Shrimp

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • Cooking spray

Dipping Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Breading Mixture:

  • In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Coat the Shrimp:

  • Dip each shrimp into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off. Then coat the shrimp in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breading.

Arrange in the Air Fryer Basket:

Air Fry:

  • Lightly spray the breaded shrimp with cooking spray. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until the shrimp are golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through.

Prepare the Dipping Sauce:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, grated Parmesan, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley (if using), salt, and black pepper.


  • Once cooked, transfer the breaded garlic Parmesan shrimp to a serving plate. Serve with the prepared dipping sauce.
