Delight in the heartwarming flavors of our Air-Fried Beef Stew with Vegetables—a modern twist on a timeless favorite. Tender beef, savory vegetables, and aromatic herbs meld together in the air fryer, creating a comforting and wholesome meal that's both convenient and satisfying.
For the Beef Stew:
- 1.5 pounds stewing beef, cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 cup red wine (optional)
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Air Fryer:
- Cooking spray
- 1. In a bowl, toss the cubed beef with flour, salt, and pepper until coated.
- 2. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- 3. In the DiamoTech 9.5” Fry Pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the coated beef and cook until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- 4. In the same DiamoTech Pan, sauté the chopped onion until translucent. Add minced garlic, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Cook for another minute.
- 5. Stir in tomato paste and cook for a minute. Deglaze the skillet with red wine (if using), scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
- 6. Transfer the beef and the onion mixture to the EaZy MealZ Air Fryer Casserole Pan.
- 7. Add chopped carrots, potatoes, and frozen peas to the dish.
- 8. Pour in the beef broth, ensuring that the ingredients are mostly submerged.
- 9. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
