Air-Fried Pesto Zucchini Noodles

  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 2 tablespoons pesto sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish (optional)
  • Chopped fresh basil, for garnish (optional)


Prepare the Zucchini Noodles:

  • Using a spiralizer or a vegetable peeler, create zucchini noodles (zoodles) from the zucchinis. If the zoodles are long, you can use kitchen scissors to cut them into more manageable lengths.

Season and Coat:

  • In a bowl, toss the zucchini noodles with olive oil, salt, and pepper until they are evenly coated.

Add Pesto:

  • Add the pesto sauce to the bowl with the zucchini noodles. Gently toss to ensure that the zoodles are coated with the pesto.

Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Air Fry the Zucchini Noodles:

  • Place the coated zucchini noodles in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air-fry the zoodles for about 5-7 minutes, gently tossing or shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time. The zoodles should be tender but still slightly crisp.


  • Transfer the air-fried pesto zucchini noodles to a serving dish. If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil over the top.
