EaZy Crispy Air Fry Bacon-Wrapped Asaragus

EaZy, Crispy Air Fry Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

Roasted to perfection in the oven or air fryer, the bacon achieves a tantalizing crispness while encasing the tender asparagus within. Drizzled with a touch of olive oil, seasoned with salt and pepper, this elegant appetizer or side dish is a celebration of indulgence in a healthier, vegetable-infused manner.

  • 1 bunch of fresh asparagus spears (about 1 pound)
  • 8-10 slices of bacon (thin-sliced works best)
  • Olive oil (optional, for drizzling)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Preheat the Oven or Air Fryer: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If you are using an air fryer, preheat it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Prepare the Asparagus: Wash the asparagus spears and trim off the tough ends. You can snap off the ends where they naturally break, or use a knife to trim them to about 2 inches in length.
  • Wrap the Asparagus: Take one slice of bacon and wrap it tightly around one asparagus spear, starting from the bottom and working your way up to the top. Repeat with the remaining asparagus and bacon slices.
  • Season and Drizzle: Place the bacon-wrapped asparagus on a EaZy MealZ Bacon Rack. If desired, drizzle the asparagus with a little olive oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake or Air Fry:
    • For the Oven: Bake the bacon-wrapped asparagus in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender.
    • For the Air Fryer: Cook the bacon-wrapped asparagus in the preheated air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, or until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender.
  • Serve: Remove the bacon-wrapped asparagus from the EaZy MealZ Bacon Rack and transfer to a serving plate.
  • Enjoy the delightful combination of crispy bacon and tender asparagus. This dish makes for a fantastic appetizer, side dish, or even a crowd-pleasing snack for any occasion!
